I don't know if you want to switch to bike brakes... you might not be able to stop as easily!

bike brakes would be an improvement right now. After the accident for whatever reason (cooked the brake fluid that quickly? I doubt it.. ) my brakes suuuck. still TONS (80+%) of meat on my KVR CF pads, the rotors are fine.. brake fluid level is fine, but I think the fluid got air in it or is otherwise just dead. With the pedal to the floor (seems to take more effort than usual) I can't lock up anything, not even on my snow tires in the rain!

ok so low brake fluid pressure then. Check the master cylinder - you probably cracked it (I had the same problem in my old Caddy after my dad panic-braked to avoid an accident). That or there's a leak in one of your lines.

yeah I haven't had my car back long enough to check the master cylinder and lines yet. I'll have to do that tonight, I may need to order even more parts >_<

A big thank you to Ken and the Protege Garage Team (Aric, Shayrgo, and all acquaintances) for all their time & energy in doing all the installs on my P5 today (Cams, Timing Belt, Intake Manifold, Ignition Wires, Exhaust Hangers, Sway Bar Endlinks). You guys rock!

The shop looks great. Let me know if I can do anything else to help the shop out (including spending more money there). :)

Nice meeting you dude. Hopefully see more of you and everyone at some meets in the summer.

doubtful.. wouldn't all of these cause fluid to leak out? I had the car back for a week before it had to go back to the body shop again and it wasn't getting any worse that I could tell. There must be something in the braking system that could break without dumping fluid.

well mine isn't fun because my exhaust manifold has a small hole in it which needs to be repaired, I'm done screwing around with this car an what better place or person to leave it with then ken.

but I need to talk too ken to see how we can get it repaired.
