I have noticed that my streering wheel has to be moved a litle to the left for the car to go striaght. If I keep the wheel completly straight the cars puls to the right. Please reply if anyone had the same problem

Steering pull..

If I recall correctly, steering is supposed to pull SLIGHTLY to the right. The reason for this is, if you fal asleep at the wheel, you will vear off of the road instead of into oncoming traffic... Anyone know if this is true?

Hmmm...

Do a search. We discussed this topic a while back. But MP5Wannabe is right. It's a standard, builtin pull. Can be dialed out if desired by an alignment shop.

I dial mine in to acount for the crown of the road and still go straight. Without that consideration, a properly aligned car would have a slight right tendency due to the crown of the road. Unfortunately the Pros have no caster adjustment to correct a steering pull tendency.

If the steering wheel is simply cocked to one side or the other when going straight, but the car doesn't pull either way, its only a toe in adjustment. I've found that my P5 has a hard time keeping the toe in adjustment, and think the tie rod end ball joints are wearing.

I just wanted to point out that there is a significant difference between "pulling to the right" and the steering wheel being misaligned due to toe in.
