'14 CX5, so steering wheel is pretty worn. I'm looking at options to restore it, and came across a couple:
- get a junkyard wheel. not really appealing as I can't tell the condition of the leather.
- get a pre-made wheel. Only thing I saw is the corksport one, while nice I'm not sure about paying $400+...
- get generic wrap and stitch myself. For ~$10 and some extra threads from walmart/joann/wherever (if I don't like the color) and a few hours of time
- get pre-cut wrap and stitch myself. The only one I found is asking for $140 which seems a bit steep. They do have some nice options (nappa leather or alcantara, I'd go with leather) though.
I'm okay handy when it comes to stitching, and can learn from youtube if needed. Anyone have experience on stitching covers and recommendation for source?
