Spray on VHT window tint

Ok, I've done some searching, but to no good answers. Has anyone tinted their windows with this spray on stuff? If so please chime in with some feedback on it!

i used it on small stuff not windows though. dont think it would look good because most likely there will be streaks when you are done. you would have to spray it on evenly, like perfectly even.

might work, do people have peoblems with streaking when they nightshade their tails and side markers? if not then maybe VHT uses something that evens itself off through the chemicals in the stuff, i dont know i just saw this and was thinking if anyone had streaking problems with the nightshades stuff since I am buying a can tonight for my sidemarkers.

If you were even with application it would probably look good from the outside... I doubt it would streak much... however, the veiw through the window from the inside would most likely get distorted....

Why not find some glass thats not important...and test her out? Can't hurt

Heres the link, they say that it can't be sprayed like regular paint, it has to flow downward for an even coating... hmm, hopefully someone has tried it on bigger projects and can give some info on it.

Well, nobody locally carries it, over at checker the guy said when it was exposed to heat(who knows how much) it started to run- he didn't even think it was still made though, so.... he could be wrong. The site that offers it for sale wants $12 for shipping on a single damned can!

yea its pricey as s***. i have it on my show tails and it sucks ass to use also of light grit sanding and coats. class hates it btw its much better made of plastics not glass. youll never get it even. im going to tell you to stay with real tint. cheap and better looking in the long run.

trust i was the first to play with niteshades and glass is not its fav. if you dont get it even when light shines through you will see drip marks and streaks why my side markers are unpluged.

I wouldnt really mess with the stuff. Doesnt seem right to me... like domino said it might run, and if you dont like it then will you be able to get it off your windows safely and totally? I would recommend that you just have a tint shop tint your widows..with shipping for one can it seems like you'd be paying just as much for something thats guaranteed​

you could also get do it yourself tint....I've seen a few jobs done well, and that is pretty cheap.

Yah, been thinking about they DIY route- I just cringe at spending $200 on something that takes a few hours and less than $50 in materials

Hopefully its will still look decent a few years from now (DIY I mean). I'm sure we have all seen how crappy a car looks when the tint is all faded and bubbled up. Ughhhh!

I myself went to the professional installed route. Lifetime guarantee seemed worth the $$$.

Well I ordered some to mess with, and tested it out on a piece of glass that I have laying around- pretty interesting stuff- very runny, but it seems to coat ok- you have to make sure the glass is really, really clean- since my windshield is cracked, before I replace it I may do a tint strip along the top of it to see how the stuff holds up to driving...
