My car idles like bad!!! It sounds like all the valves are chattering away or like a diesel engine (if thats possible) when I start to accelerate through the rpm range it gets louder and about midway threw the rpm range its sorta quiet, but as I go higher in the rpm range it gets louder, one place said my timing was so advanced they called it spark knock(i guess i'm no mechanic) where the spark would happen before the a/f mixture hit or something like that. I have no modifications on my car except one. I have forged internals w/that said I tried to take my car back to the place that installed the internals and supposedly timed the engine and they said its fine! But obvisously its not cause of all the engine noise and they just want more money. Called around and one place new exactly what was wrong, I even held the phone to the engine while running. They said they'll adjust the timing on the car for like 860 dollars. If somebody could help me in the right direction or give me instructions (I can follow instructions for a diy job) on how to correct the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.
