Has anyone in the Austin area done business with these guys? Them seem like they are a good shop since its a one owner thing not a big business. They specialize in suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, etc. and have extensive experience in SCCA. Here's a link to their site: www.soulspeed.com

Just Wondering

I went there to have them put in a front sway bar, rear camber kit, and an alignment last month. They were really nice and friendly. Dropped off the car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. They did a good job fixing the rear camber.

My buddy worked for Bill for awhile before moving back to DFW. Bill does good work and is a friendly guy, I reccomend him to anyone who needs suspension/chassis work in Austin.

Bill is a personal friend and they do some of the best work in TX as far as car setup, alignments, and general installations. As well as car prep for open track.

How much did Bill charge you for replacing the front sway bar?

Bill's a good guy. I usually get my alignments done there.

He also can work magic with SQL Server databases...or at least he could in a former life.

was told BIZ may be closing down...?

so i went elsewhere for my questions/work.

From their Website:

"April 9th 2007
SoulSpeed is closed due to a family emergency for at least a few weeks. Any outstanding business issues should be directed to but we cannot guaranty a timely response. Please do not call or leave a message as we will not receive it."

I hope they're not shutting down. They aligned my Miata, did a great job, and have mounted a few sets of tires for me. Very nice guys that really seemed to know what they were doing.

I get my coilovers for the p5 in this week.. hope SoulSpeed is still around towards the end of the month to install...
