yellowmsp035 has the exact shade I want to do to my tail lights.

You said a couple coats of nightshade and clearcoat, did you do any sanding at all to it?

I tinted my sidemarkers last night, doing my tails in two weeks, and I want to take my headlight apart and tint that orange reflector in the corner.

^^^ nope, just cleaned them off, taped the reverse lights and sprayed away.. i have actually taken them off now and put on stock ones and used the red overlays to red them all out.. i think they look twice as good now.

no sorry.. will soon.. but not now.. the car is completely ripped apart right now.. no interior or engine and the shell is in storage for winter.. ill post pics when the rebuild is done in the spring

I have been lookin for a Translucent paint for tinting lights. Everytime i went to Autozone or Advance i asked, but they didnt know of a brand or name.
They look alot better tinted IMO.

I went to autozone first and the guy was like uhh I don't think they make tinting pain, so I got mine from hobby lobby. If you have a nearby hobby store check there. I got some that is for model cars and it worked great.

Any problems with moisture? Basically do they seem to be well made? I looked at them but was hesitant.

nope no moisture, no condensation
good fit too.

Where do you get the tint from??? I cannot find it anywhere.
I don't want it extra dark.
I just want it to look gray like the tail lights of the Mazdaspeed 3.

Or you can use the spray tint like niteshades.
