Who can explain about the small filter on the valve cover? Last time I saw they used the oil catch thank and now switch to small filter. Is it suck or blow out of the pressure? What the purpose of it.

Thank you in advance.

the vac line that usually goes there just shoots excess oil back into the intake....it's a small mod made to stop that excess oil from blowing back into the intake.

On high mileage engines the combustion gases can bypass the cylinder seals and pressurize the crankcase. This blows oil into the PCV and or the intake hose and oil fouls the intake.

Leave it alone.
