As far as the poor running, if you installed the intake without disconnecting the battery, it's possible that you zapped the MAF. More likely is that you just confused it and it may straighten out.
And yes, the low RPM after ECU reset is normal. Mine does it for almost exactly 100 miles every time I disconnect the batt.

So you should disc. the battary after the intake install? And say that you zappped the MAF, does this mean you need a new MAF? Or will a simple ecu reset fix this problem?

i disc my batt before i started the install. im assuming when he says zap, that means he probably messed it up in one way or another?
