There is a guy that has a white one where I live. He has tint, rims and a really loud exaust. He got pulled over for noise and they made him change his exaust...s***...Sorry...Off topic.

The car is like a little van rather than a HotHatch. It's ******* tall and heavy. It's ok for speed but not what I would have chosen as a ricer due to it's center of gravity.

anyway, i got the shorty antenna from a maita, and i don't think that is a stock antenna but it work for me, and the reception did not change at all. works perfect.

My Buddy has an Aerio.

For the 02 year they have 130 hp I think. The newer ones have been uped.

They dont handle anywhere near as well as the p5, however they have similar acceleration. It just feels different because they are quiter and softer.

Maybe we should race them this weekend....:D

I will see if we can swap attenas and maybe post some pics.

Suzuki's make excellent victims, whether it be "stealing" their antennas, racing them, or smashing them with clubs

cut it

I'm not one for budget mods, but i just cut mine with a plumbers pipe cutter, inked the fiberglass ends black and put a small smooth dab of silicon on the end. Looks good, and still functions just fine. FREE

Isn't it possible to remove the cap off of our stock antenna, cut it down then recap it?

Interesting, I don't know if that's the way I'd do it but thanks for the idea.

How much did you shorten it by?

And there's no affect on reception for you?

On a side note, I heard that the VW Golf's antenna with the wire wrap might be compatible.

The wire wrap is to reduce wind noise.

So why do you have an antenna?
