Service Phone Call

:
2007 GT FWD, Bose/NAV
Finally, something good has happened. I recently had my vehicle serviced, or lack there of by Ourisman Mazda of Laurel MD. I have noticed on my caller ID after returning from work etc. that mazda customer service has been calling. They were persistent and finally got me on the phone last night. They asked my about my recent service and if there were any outstanding issues. I said besides the fact that they tried to rake me over the coals for two new rotors and brake pads ($780) for a problem that I have had since mile 5000 (clicking), and the fact that they refused to further address the clicking issue until I complied with their brake job after (36K miles), not really. The service department let me walk out the door without as much as acknowledging me with a "have a nice day" or a (fu). Oh well at least my vehicle will be clean after the whole ordeal because they also fixed 2 recall issues, oh wait scratch the car wash. Should have paid the $780 for the carwash I guess. Ourisman Mazda has always been a crappy dealership and service department since I have been dealing with them, but it seems to have gotten worse.

Long story short I am glad Mazda is finally doing the right thing and checking up after service for satisfaction. At least I got to tell big mazda how I feel about that dealership (eekfu) The lady was quite nice on the phone too.

I'm in the DC area as well. I bought from Brown Mazda in Fairfax. So far I haven't used the service dept. If/when I do I'll let you know how they are.
