I'm not sure on the offset required for the protege DX and LX but if they are the same specs as the ES, MP3 or Protege 5, then the RH Evo CP8R will not work on your car. Even though the bolt pattern is the same (4x100) the offset a protege needs is very different from that of a civic. It will bolt up fine, but you will have severe rubbing.

i dunno the guy, Rishie, i think is his name from Auto R&D said that the fitting with the offsets and all is good for the LX. he with 205/40/17 size tires.

Hey section 8 . Sorry if yesterdays post was a little heated . Had just gotten out of a 6 hour meeting and it just seemed like to me everytime I came back to my computer you had said something else on this topic. I do completely understand your point. And judging by your car and the way you talk errrr.... type. I can tell that you know what you are talking about. Well Glad that there are people out there that know all of these little things about our cars. I am still learning about my P5 but alot of priciples can be applied from other cars. It has always been my opinon that message boards are sometimes difficult to read or interpret because without voice or sound you don't know the inflection the person meant it with. so something just for fun and sarcasm comes off sounding like a complet a hole. Well I think you know what I mean. Anyway still haven't decided on wheels. I need to soon. Hope you guys have a better day than I had yesterday or am going to have today.

Rishie knows what he's talking about...like I said, I'm not sure on the specs required for the DX and LX proteges..I was just guessing...also, I don't know what offsets the CP8Rs come in. If Rishie says they'll fit, I'm sure they'll fit.

FuNwaGoN, I understand, and again, I'm not trying to piss you off or be an asshole, I just want to get the right info out to everyone. Message Boards are hard because you can't hear the tone of voice the other person is using so it's really easy to take something the wrong way. I'm sorry to hear about your crappy day...hopefully tomrrow will be better.
