The rim is 18x7.5 with an offset of 45 and the tire is 215/40/18

I would get 215/35/18.. cause its for a 18" wheels not 17" You have a typo somewhere man.

Sounds like it would be borderline, but you might be ok. What ever happened to the wheel/tire sticky for proteges?
