Well I've been thinking hard about it, and I think that I really would rather keep my MSP than sell and buy an MS3. Considering all the money I've spent already and how close I am to having it the way I want, it would be stupid to start all over. So I will just pimp out the protege and rock it till it dies. Hopefully I can save some money over time and possibly (gasp) build the motor ??? I wouldn't go for any crazy amount of power, but definitely close to 250whp would be nice.

250 whp has been done on stock internals, and i bet with a good tune and some other small (well smallish) stuff here-and-there you would be closer than you think.

True, but I may just do a small build in the future to make it safe. Also I would probably want to upgrade to a disco and run low-ish boost with 9:1 pistons. The most important thing to me is that it has to be reliable since it is my only car.

I've never really thought about tracking it though it probably would be fun to do. I'll need a welded lsd before I do that though haha. The more I think about it, I love the MSP way too much to sell it for an MS3. The style of these cars is so much cooler than a hatch in my perspective.

Today I had my front motor mount and shifter bushings installed. Since I had a technician with access to a lift do them, both went on like butter. Very happy with the car's response to the upgrades.

Well I have the Vibrant exhaust with high flow cat so I can pass smog. I've never heard about failing because of different internals.

Oh and I still have my ABS light I still can't get anybody to read me the code. We tried tonight with a snap on scanner and it wouldn't work. All I need is the damn code since I have a manual with all the explanations already GAH!

Started installing my Greddy Profec B Spec II yesterday, just need to finish the electrical wiring.
