Replacement Headlight Bulbs

Thanks Hank3 Great info.this has saved me a Lot of time. 2 more quick Question. i am also looking to Change the Fog Lamps to HID. is it possible and also i am in Toronto Canada. any place or Product that you can Recommend that will be the best. as i am totally new to this and just Getting more Confused reading all the Posts.
 
6000k will have a bit of blue, nothing too harsh. If you want pure, bright white, go for 5000k. 4300k is the closest to halogen you will get.

As for the fogs, it is possible, but there is a slight bit of modification that will need to be done, if you want to do it properly. I drilled out the hole in the back of the fog housing to accomidate the rubber seal/gromet that comes with the lights... this also helps them fit better. Also, the lens' will barely be screw on, to not crush anything, but can be sealed with some sort of sealer.

I ran 5000k headlights with 3000k fogs:

haha the first time I changed a burnt out bulb I turfed the bulb and the adapter in the dumpster outside my building. I was interrupted by something and when I got back to it a couple hours later I realized the error and had to dumpster dive to get the adapter back. lesson learned - don't throw out the bulb adapters!!
