Hello all, I have a burned out headlight in my 2014 CX5 GT. Experience some confusion about what headlights I have and was told to purchase DS4 HID bulbs. Found a pair at a decent price on Amazon and returned to shop for installation. Shop guy tells me he can't do it and I need to have the whole assembly removed to replace bulbs. Can anyone else confirm this?

First, I assume you don't have LED lights in your car, right? (I don't think they were available in the 1st gen cars.)
If not, then your shop doesn't know what they are doing. I've replaced bulbs on our 2014 Touring a couple of times over the years. Now it IS true that a couple of them are a pain to get to, but it's certainly doable without removing the assembly.
