Does any body have suggestions on how to remove or hide the air bag wanings on the vinyl sunvisers of the mazda 3. I know that they are screen printed on, so they are paint thinner will remove it, but that will also ruin the vinyl. I was thinking about vinyl pait, but never used it, so i am worried about color match. Maybe there are after market one that we can buy. Any suggestions or links to products?

thanks

spray vinyl paint works great. IF you dont cake it on. You have to use a few light coats (with a matching color). you also have to clean it thoroughly first with degreaser\alcohol so it will stick properly. I used to rebuild wrecks and i used a tons white corrola interior parts and painted them blue to match the other car, i was amazed at how perfect it was. I did it outside in blazing hot weather, and im sure that helped. Good Luck, and rip safety logo.

I want to remove them because I cant stand to look at them. I know that the airbag can hurt you. But it is the only thing in the entire car that stands out. I have a color scheme to go buy for the car and the yellow and orange of these ugly things do not go with it. Some body on this forum has to agree with me. i dont like stickers on my cars. the look ricey. My car go hella fas doo, But I dont need stickers to tell me that I will die when the airbag goes off

Please help

PAINT IT BLACK HUH. maybe if the head liner was black and not grey. Did you not read the first post. Vinyl paint, does it work?

so go deliver a pizza or something. then get a real job and stop being an asshole. I asked a completely valid question. they are ugly, I want them gone. I want to know if any body has done it.

i told you it works great. read my posts rudeboy!

Enough with the insults.

smokaone, you got some ballz to have 5 posts on this message board and are already bad-mouthing people. Knock it off. If you want people to help you, you're gonna have to change your attitude. You might get away with that on other message boards but not here.

mobo, you know better. 'Nuff said. (no)

after looking at my sunvisors today i would simply suggest removing the sun visors. remove the sunvisors and buy some sunglasses and the problem is solved without any real labor.

have your grandmother knit a stocking for them, you could have it match the rest of the car. +20 rwhp.
