We'll be bringing in the Titanium on the next shipment. IT wouldn't be any cheaper to have one made. We'll offer promotional pricing on the exhaust for $975.00 shipped. This will only be available on the first five sold.

How much will the Titanium system weigh?....how much does the stock and other aftermarket systems weigh?

The titanium system for an IS300 is 7pounds. The racingbeat system weighs around 45 pounds. The Bosal is around 25-30, and stock has to be around 50pounds.

The titanium should be around 7-10 pounds at the most.

To make a custom full titanium exhuast that has the quality of JIC would be roughly the same amount of money
An HKS titanium muffler is 427 dollars figure another 350 dollars for the titanium piping (which is difficult to source) than finding a muffler shop that has the ability to weld it up. That will roughly cost you 200-300 dollars in labor.....save yourself the trouble and get the good sheeyat.:p

I just went to the jic website and saw a Bullet ST semi-titanium exhaust system for the P5. Few questions?

1) Is the only difference the canister is stainless steel not Ti?
2) What is the weight difference?
3) What do one of these sound like, the canister doesn't seem to have much volume to supress sound?
4) Are these cat-back?

Thanx

The semi titanium is actually SS piping and a Ti canister. The difference is only the weight in the canisters. Maybe two pounds or so. Mostly because people want the look of the blue flamed tip from the Ti can. They are catback.

As for sound no one can say yet as the systems have not arrived.

Thanks!

Decibel level and sound quality(ie. I don't want fart in a can) are important too. Cops can be a pain in the ass around here. I know a couple of people, ticketed because "It sounded like they were racing", according to the cop.
:wtf:

Anyway, they contested it and won. (The cop didn't show). But its such a hassle setting time to get off work.

do they make this Titanium exhaust for the mp3?

If it fits the Protege Sedan it will fit the MP3. If it fits the P5 it won't fit due to the P5 exhaust having a 4 inch shorter exhuast system. The 4 inches are at the rear muffler.

hopefully, with the new law passed in cali with the help of SEMA, cops will have to piss-off on the "sounded like" and "i felt it was too loud" defense.
