Praise the MSP

RX-8 = Hotness...dont compare it to the RX-7 cuz it wasnt intended to be a RX-7. IT was Mazda's version of the "Everyday usuable sports car." Def a prime example of form following function. And its quite a good lookign form too. There wont be much trash talking about the RX-8 when and if Mazda plans to release a Mazdaspeed version of it.

geez... sensative people, not hating, just stating... Im in a 17,000 car and at the drag stip, I have beaten 350's and rx-8s, both over 29,000. it is a different type of car but if you are looking for flat out performance for money, you caint compare it to the MSP... I have under 500 dollars in mods and run 14.4s. But my friend here with his green 2004 RX-8 6-speed has around 1800 in exhaust, intake, custom ecu calibration, and custom ram air and he only runs 14.6 at best.

what!? i was really concernd sorry i guess! i always thought srt's were way faster i drove one and i have driven an msp and from what i can remeber the srt-4 was a whole lot quicker so naturally i was scared!

Msp is a great car. So much better looking than many others IMO. Not blazing fast, but when you take that circular onramp at 60mph you know you love it.

There are some days I wish I found this forum before I went car shopping. (hand) I love my P5, except for the lack of power, and the MSP seems to have corrected that. I can get the handling (or better handling) in a similar car with more power? No way! (duh)
Well so much for that. Besides, I don't think the wife would go for that. Well...maybe in a few years when my P5 is paid off, I can have a second fun car and it could be the MSP.

i am deathly scraed to push my car in any long sweeper be it an on ramp or anything.
