In the market for a CX-90, reasonable OTD price?

:
2016 Mazda CX-9 GT
Hello all, I am a long time poster under the CX-9 forum. My wife currently drives a 2016 CX-9 grand touring with 150,000 miles. No major issues (knock on wood). We plan on keeping the CX-9 for our son who doesn’t drive too many miles and get my wife the CX-90. She wants the HUD and as far as I have seen the Turbo S premium plus is the only one that has it. Her CX-9 grand touring currently has the HUD. Anyways back to the original reason for this post. What are you all seeing out there for a reasonable OTD price? We plan to take advantage of the end of year sales and really don’t care if it’s a 2024 unless we get a great deal on a 2025.

Thanks

I just got a 2025 PHEV Premium Plus in Phoenix AZ Nov 18, 2024 for $62k OTD.

Original OTD price was $73k (62.5k vehicle price, tax, doc fees and all kinds of dealer add-ons)

After having the sales guy walk back to his manager 3 times I settled for an OTD price of $62k which consisted of a vehicle price of $57k and no additional warranties or dealer add-ons. I also got $2.5k in "credits" baked into the OTD price which consisted of a 1.5k federal or state incentive for alternative fuel vehicles and 1k mazda loyalty bonus.

Bottom line... they knocked down the sticker MSRP 5.5k and I got to keep some of the dealer add-ons like window tint for free since I was very clear I didn't want and was not going to pay for anything additional... I guess they were going to remove the window tint ;)

Are there any other thoughts on this topic?

We have started getting prices (online) and the lowest offer has been $1,000 off MSRP for a Turbo S Premium Plus.

I'm not sure how much lower going in person will allow for.

Thoughts?

In case it is helpful we ended up purchasing a 2025 Turbo S Premium. MSRP $55,275. Purchase price $50,926.50 + taxes and fees. I believe we could have gotten a little more off, but we were trying to purchase quickly.
That's a solid deal! Assuming there weren't a bunch of dealer addendum items of course, but from a discount/sale price perspective, this is about 8% off which is solid.
