Diffuser does have function. Car is super planted at 70+ miles per hour (front lip probably helps too). And my car is slow?? Cool story bro, its not a protege.

i never said your car was slow. in fact, if i could have an MX6, it would probably be yours. i loved them ever since i drove a v6 in 95. my protege is a just a poor substitute.

Far from insecure brother. Just kinda annoying how peeps be saying that the diffuser doesnt do s*** as if i strictly bought it for function. Also i dont know what it is with people say how fast or slow my car is. like they really have an idea(not just this forum )

Fair enough... and before anyone gets butt-hurt over aero again, people need to do research before they comment. Aerodynamic pieces on a car start to take effect at just 30 mph. The effects are low at that point, but are there - whether it be in the form of lift, downforce, or drag. I have no doubt the diffuser and front splitter help you out, but don't think they're exactly dialed in to provide maximum support...

Also in my post where I brought back your pics, I mentioned Tuft Testing. This is real world aero testing, and if you take pics or video during can shut quite a few people up. Again like I said, you will ultimately spend the rest of your days debating the whole drag vs downforce thing....

As to diffusers, my front diffuser made a huge amount of downforce. My rear diffuser did not, but what it did do was move the rear axle turbulance that buffets the back chassey around behind the car allowing it to cut through smoother with less lift. make sense?

I can't help you with if your car is slow or not. For me ultimate speed is not the goal, so much as precision and control are. Don't worry about impressing interweb people with how fast your car is....

I'd crop a lot tighter on that first pic... make the trees a bigger part of the background.

Love the pink trim though, very tastefully done.

wow.... thanks for the info guys, didnt mean to stir things up. Lots of tension or jus hard-knock jokes. Awesome cars btw.
