True true, the HALO are actually pretty bright themselves. Will get more pics up soon, just want to get the right amount of light in the shot!

Slammed with Eibach Sportlines and no rubbing whatsoever. :)

I would love to lower my brand new 3 but I'm worried about winter... anyone still able to get around with the car lowered that much and getting 4+ inches of snow? Or are you guys all switching out rims for a winter set?

My car is lowered 2 inches and I get around just fine in the winter. Do the roads ever really get more than 4 inches of snow without being plowed? Like if you want to be out driving during the heart of a crazy blizzard, then it may not be a good idea.

I'm in Michigan so...yeah sometimes ;)

I had a wrx with snow tires, and going from that to this car will be night and day.. I had the wrx lowered but I'm scared to do it in this just because of lack of traction. I already notice the lack of grip when pulling out into traffic in wet conditions. Just curious what it would be like lowered and with snow.. just kind of scares me.

If you have the Badyear RSAs, then you're screwed no matter what kind of conditions you're driving in. I changed my tires before last winter and it made all the difference in the world. Even with mine lowered, I didn't have any problems at all, and that was just with all-seasons. I'm going to get some winters this year, so it should be even better.

The car does really well with some decent snow tires (Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50s for the win). I've driven in some really harsh blizzards and lake-effect snow situations without issue. i have also driven in snow deeper than my car's ground clearance.

Cool. Looks like perhaps next season I will get a new set of snow tires. :)
