Kansei said:My car is lowered 2 inches and I get around just fine in the winter. Do the roads ever really get more than 4 inches of snow without being plowed? Like if you want to be out driving during the heart of a crazy blizzard, then it may not be a good idea.

I had a wrx with snow tires, and going from that to this car will be night and day.. I had the wrx lowered but I'm scared to do it in this just because of lack of traction. I already notice the lack of grip when pulling out into traffic in wet conditions. Just curious what it would be like lowered and with snow.. just kind of scares me.

Kansei said:The car does really well with some decent snow tires (Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50s for the win). I've driven in some really harsh blizzards and lake-effect snow situations without issue. i have also driven in snow deeper than my car's ground clearance.
