plug under drivers seat

Yes. As you stated I have es/p5 front seats and my rear seats appear to be stock mp3. If p5 rear seats will fit, theres a local junkyard with a p5 I can get the seats from and swap. My bottom half in the rear is warped anyway

you would wire them by having an airbag control module capable of handling them (idk if they're different), and wires running under the seat to that location. if the car isn't looking for the module to be there, it'll just sit there and do nothing. kinda like.. the light is on but nobody's home.. or more accurately, theres a lightbulb there, but the house has no electricity.

so buckling your seatbelt opens the circuit, and the airbag is disabled when the circuit is closed? it would have to be a normally open circuit if disconnecting it wouldn't disable the airbag...

if the air bag goes off with you not buckled, its more likely that it'll kill you than save you. Its called a supplemental restraint. if it isn't supplementing something, it doesn't function properly. the stupid ppl weed themselves out.
