Plug Gap

I know you guys are probably sick of answering all these novice spark plug issues but I dont know what to gap them at.
The dealership says 40, Autozone says 44, and some here say 28-32.
28-44 is a pretty big range so what should it be for an all stock car???
Denso IK20 Plugs

I'd say leave 'em as they come. Seems like you do more damage banging the electrode into shape than good setting an 'ideal' gap. I used to wrench for a guy that owned a motorcycle repair shop that had ~35 years experience - I asked him about gapping plugs for my bike. He took the plugs, held them up to the light to look at the gap, handed that plugs back and said "Gapped!" His take was what I stated above.
