that's a good deep red...i wish i could find some paint that color to do my calipers!

i'm going to paint my valve cover like that hopefully this weekend...along with my wheels...and install my sways...anyone wanna help? lol.

24hr's it was plenty dry enough to install use your own judgement yours may dry quicker. I also used a new gasket and make sure there is no oil on the vc or head where the gasket goes. I wiped the head down with thinner after i got the oil off and the valve cover was alrdy squeeky clean from cleaning it soo much. You also have to put rtv in the corners of the cam caps.

Yeh well sorry I have a life and didnt have time to polish mine (boom03) . lol im j/k but this is my daily driver needed it done asap. Im not quite the polishing pro yet either need some more attachments.

Yup its the miata one. I might try and sand the surface really smooth noticed its not real smooth wish i would of done that before I installed it tho, thought it would seal but the stock cap sucks.

If you are carefull you can polish/sand the raised lettering to make them silver/polished/brushed depending on how much time you have.

If you look at the first post I had my letters polished but then I sandblasted the whole valve cover to redo it so ill have to redo them again.

The more i mess with this car the more i want to upgrade it was tryin to save the money for my other car. I guess cause the mazda is running and together makes me want to mod it more. Im kinda thinkin of a msp conversion possibly if i get really bored.

I can powder coat those things for you guys..... I have a wrinkle black that is on order, a gloss black, gloss red, gun metal, yellow, blue, and many more options.

Example:

04-05 Dodge SRT-4 Cover - Gloss Black - Grinded down the letters back to silver.
