Yes! Do tell! I like the fact that they're not flat blue. Whatever you used, does it come in red? Also, what's its durability?

Hrrrm... Did you paint the back of your pads? I noticed that the whole assembly is blue. Heh. Probably not such a hot idea, but I'm sure it doesn't matter TOO much. It'll make it a bit difficult to get the pads off, though.

Somehow we couldn't get my freakin calipers off..it's not sticking or anything and the pads are still working. Oh well..i'm not the one changing the pads when they wear out anyways.

As for paint, I had a friend mix me up some paint. All I had to do was give him my color code. I had to buy some primer, and high temp clear coat. He used an air brush from a hobby shop to spray the calipers. 2 coats primer, 2 coats paint and 2 coats clear coat.

As for durability...don't know..I just finished painting yesterday. It should hold up, as it is clear coated and that kind of protects it a bit.

Well..here is an update to the calipers. Sorry for bringing up an old thread. They're fine so far. Paint is not faded. Still looking good as ever even in the middle of winter. I suggest going this route if you want to paint your calipers.

Sweet! Thanks for the update. What brand paint did you use? Or is it your friend's secret formula that we will never gain access to and therefore have to be envious of your brilliant paint job whilst our calipers go naked and/or inferiorily painted? :p

Bass Addict - P5's and MSP's come in Laser Blue stock, though I think the color is more rare than any of the others. It's really nice, great depth - like the spicy orange. :D

Ok...bringing up a real old thread.

clownphish - it's the exact paint that they use for our touch up paint. The clearcoat makes it glossy.

After -40C weather and snow/salt/sand/rocks the paint is holding up. Not chipped, no scratches(yet). Not even faded.
