Painted Calipers

i was wondering if anyone one was considering painting the break calipers a different color. personally, i think red would look pretty sweet on the black msp

Just to let u know when u paint them u will get a nasty smell for about 3-4 days beause of the paint melting to the caliper.

I used Duplicolor High Heat and I never smelled it at all. The stuff was only like 5 bucks, too.

i would powdercoat them red actually, not paint. but i actually think i want a big brake kit eventually so im leavin em for now

White caliper? :wtf: that would look nasty when brake dust gets on them you would haft to clean them everyday (smash) (2thumbs)

Yuck, White Calipers? Where did you come up with that? All the brake dust will cover the white once you hit the brakes. So much for white.....more like Grey! or Ghey

I decided to paint my calipers red to match the 5 on the back P5 emblem. I also painted all the emblems black. I didn't care for the chrome, it was too shiney for me. Eventually i'd like to put some black rims on.

What about Black paint for the Black MSP, I bought some gloss black paint. I'm thinking of giving my MSP that blackout look......

Not to threadjack, but, since i'm planning on painting my calipers red, i was jsut curious how everyone has delt with the rust building up on the brakes? I don't want to paint the calipers red and have the rest of the brakes looking rusty.

Or, is this something that will never stop?
