Pablo's 2004 MSM Build

The little MSM looked really flat on the entrance ramps. And a quick little bugger too!

Got the car back, man those motor mounts make a difference. Transmission is very tight, and power deliver y is also different. Can't really say how much cuz I was driving in the snow with bald Nittos NT01. Alignment is done, they had to raise the car so it wouldn't rub, height it 5.5" off the ground (from ground to pinch weld). Alignment settings:

Caster: 5
Camber front: -1.6
Camber rear: -2.1
Toe front and rear: 0

Pretty close to what Will had, so we'll she how she handles. Things to try to accomplish over Thanksgiving: frog arms, AEM wideband, seat + harness and the Hydra with the injectors. What is left?

- tune
- passenger seat and harness
- catback
- 3.63 rear end

Don't want to go big turbo so other than that it will be maintenance and small details. Will take a picture when there's light out.

Let me know how she handles with the new alignment specs!

What is the ride height fender to hub?

Quoted for future use in arguments. ;)

You're a brave soul for driving her back to your house in the snow last night. Balls of steel!

oh, I was checking the injectors last night and found that one of the o-rings is busted so I got a new set this morning. The other seals look fine.

Worked on the car today. Installed the frog arms, not too bad but I had to take everything apart again because the doors weren't closing right and the left fender was not straight. As for the ride height, 12.5 front and 13 rear. My legs are really sore from my workout yesterday, so I'll see what else I can get done tomorrow.

Haven't driven her yet, waiting for the epoxy to cure so I can put the seat in. Maybe tomorrow I can get that done and take her for a spin.

The seat is in and the belts are adjusted (and properly set). Took her for a drive, felt a difference on the side streets. She is more firm, doesn't shake at all. Once you get a bit if speed is when you notice the biggest difference, should be the combination of the frog arms, suspension and alignment. She turns really quick!

Seat is comfortable, happy with the choice even though its a race seat. Because of the width I ordered (for comfort sake) its a bit wide on the shoulders, the door trim was pushing against it so I trimmed it. I will spare you from that picture, since some of you were outraged at my choice for the boost gauge. The resale value has already dropped significantly, so this is nothing.

I was going to post about the Frog Arms but I see you got your test drive in. I have Tuckin' 99s on mine and found the same results you did after installation. Stiffer front, quicker turning, and better steering feel. There are several choices available now so anyone who wants to improve things up front should get a set.

Mounted the Hydra, ran the wiring and the vacuum line. Replaced the o-rings on the injectors so I'm ready to go. I want to get some rest today, so I might try to finish next weekend if its "nice" out.
