p5 drivers with underbody on their car, where did you mount the brackets for the rear bumper? i can't seem to find a place, my drill bit won't go through the bumper, its too thick

can't find a picture...

but if you look under your rear bumper, there's little triangular pieces of plastic run in the direction of tire well to rear of car.
Make sense? No? Well just look for little pieces shaped liked triangles. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the middle of the triangles and used zip ties threw the hole and aroundt he bulb. Worked great.

i had this on my car until something smashed into the bulb (something big like a peice of wood) and the LED nozzles burned out LOL

move? never moved on me...

...can ya clarify what you mean by move?

if you'll take a look at my highly sophisticated piece of artwork, you'll see that it's very secure. Imagine being superman and you can see through the rear bumper, looking straight down at the bulb.

Okay, the "=" represent the bulb. The "x" represent the zip ties going through the hole you drill and a around the bulb. if you run a zip tie one way and then the other way, it would look like an "X".

So when you say "move" as in will it slide left or right, the answer is no. The zip ties hold it in place very well. Now for the record, I was running Streetglow Gold Series and they worked great. So if you're running a cheaper kind, and the bulb breaks, you can't hold it against me :p

I got the gold series in yellow so ill send you some picks of how I hooked it up. I used rip ties to hold it on and it works great.(redp5)

glad it worked for you!!

can't wait to see the pics.

for future warning, if you're going to have you car worked on for whatever reason, ask if the place lifts the car my the sides...if they do, tell them ahead of time about your bulbs. Had Eibach springs installed, car was sitt'n low, looking awesome, when night came around I wanted to see if my underbodies appeared brighter being closer to the ground.....flip the switch and nothing. took me a couple days to figure out the passenger side bulb was crushed.
couldn't get them to pay either, since I left the property before I realized they were broke.
