Do you suffer from this:

Notice the rust on my hex cap screws in the bracket?

Why don't you replace them with these:

I just got word from AWR that the 19mm swaybar uses the same bolts!

I was taking pics of my 21.5mm AWR swaybar for another user on the board, and I noticed that the hex screws in my brackets for the adjustable end-links were showing a lot of rust already. I talked with Tony, and he said the only thing to do is spray WD-40 on there, or replace them with stainless steel.

I am replacing mine, so I figured anyone else would want there's replaced as well. For a nominal fee to cover shipping and handling, I will send a set of 8 stainless steel 1/4"/20 hex cap screws to anyone who wants them.

BE SURE TO TELL ME YOUR FORUM NAME!

I am interested. it's direct replacement right? I will send you info tomorrow.

exactly. I will verify that when I pick up the parts tomorrow. The vendor stated they had stainless steel Hex Cap end screws with the dimensions of 1/4-20 7/8" length (if you want to find them yourself)

ah crap, I just realized this ended up in the wrong section. I was trying to put it in GENERAL rims/tire/suspension. Help?

no payments yet, I don't know for certain they are an exact fit.

I'm one step ahaed of you guys. ;)

Here's the bolts to look for if you decide to do it yourself at Home Depot. They fit perfectly.

EDIT: I also used a SS nut on the end of the bolt for even more strength..ugh, I misplaced most of the pics, but here's at least one blurry one to give you an idea of what I'm talkin' bout.

<-- Couldn't find them at Home Depot, True Value, or Lowes

PM sent, and thanks for being so damn thoughtful :D

Hey glyph,

That was the very first thing I did, when I got my AWR Rear Swaybar. Replaced the 1/4-20 Socket Head Cap Screws with S.S. ones. They still look new today. The only problem I ran into was the head dia. of the S.S. screws were just a couple thousands of an inch bigger than the ones that came with the bar and I had a hard time getting them to fit. I just put them in a lathe I have and turned them down, just to make it easier to put back together. I hope yours fit better than mine. Just something to look out for.

Okay, updated the first post. These things fit perfectly.

Nice mod. I just need to confirm that mine are rusting and then I'll order.

oh yeah, forgot to post the price! $5 shipped.

Get your AMM status and I'll send payment! Are you getting AMM staus? It's not like you're going to sell a ton of these. Just tell me how you'll accept payment. Paypal I hope!

you don't have to wait for it. I have sent the email to Antoine, per the instructions. Click the Buy now link on the first post, it will take you through paypal.

The AMM status is not just for this, but my lighting customization kits in my sig, and any other ideas I might come up with in the future.
