yeah, i dont know that much about cars but dont wait that long

yeah i know but i was just goin by what it said... i'm gonna do it @3k i was just lookin for feedback on the manual.

Go by the manual.......and if you do the oil changes yourself MAKE SURE YOU KEEP RECIPETS!!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't have documentation of regular services you will be void of warrenty!!!!!

Eek, i reread my post, and im at work and was on a bad call.. came out kinda rude....
Anyways, change the oil every 3k miles. Or if you do alot of hard driving, like an autox, or drag strip, you may wanna change it sooner, like 2500.
KEEP RECEIPTS from buying the oil, or from the changes.

I usually just wrap my filters in plastic and throw em in the trash. Not environmentally friendly.. i should not do that again.
I DO however take my used oil to an oil change place and they can dispose of it for you.

First oil change for me was at 600 miles, next one at 3000. The guy who's shop I help at said it's best to change it after about 500 miles, then do the regular maintenence routine. Btw, always change the filter when you change the oil.

they should of... if they didn't then whoop their sorry non-oilfilter changein asses
