oil leak found

Been having a weeping oil leak for past few months. Not a great deal of oil by any means, but annoying. Yesterday was an install day for me anyway, new elite oil catch can, and a cpe turbo inlet. Catch can went good, hardest part was getting the train of thought on which way to install. So took a break, then decided to go ahead and install the inlet. Removed all the parts to get to the plastic pancake, found that the clamp around the turbo wasn't even tight! Then found the the vaccum tube had been blowing oil on the plactic nip on the oem inlet. So, this area was coated in a fine film of oil. Didn't remove the tube from the plastic part several people have found breaks easily, but used a 1/8th barb fitting and the additional hose that cpe provided. Hardest part was putting the cobb sri back on. Anyway, I hope this will eliminate the oil leak. Thanks to su for their great customer service! Haven't driven yet, it was pretty early this morning when I finished.

d00d, mad inlets get loose. i don't understand it. in fact, i have oil splatter on my heat shield covering the manifold. it's weird. tighten that new inlet down. i would also suggest going to napa and buying tbolt clamps if cpe didn't send any
