Yeah, yeah - killed all the right side cones on that run. Of course, you all don't say anything about the run where I didn't hit any cones in the slalom...

Think of it this way - I'm still learning what space my car occupies + providing entertaining video fodder at the same time. :D
Understood. I think this was my first auto-x in which I DIDN'T hit any Slalom cones. Sigh...too bad we're in the post season now lol

Joyce-Ann can blame me for hitting all the slalom cones, they were on my side of the car when I was riding with her. :D

I was in the car with Luke when we had our agricultural excursion. I remember just as we left the pavement I yelled "BOTH FEET IN!!!!". He didn't stall out, and we went right back to dreefting.

nice. I didn't have the presence of mind to do that when I had my kone killa experience, and did stall out...however, my time for that run was still better than the best time of the Olds up until that point lol

EDIT: I was going through looking at the pictures / vids again...Luke, do you realize that in like every pic of your car ur going sideways?

Sorry man, them's it. I didn't have my big flash card, so I had to shoot them that size, what with all of the avis and all.

Wayne, how the hell do you get the axle nuts off the front? I had a 24" breaker and had the hub braced with a big freakin crow bar against the ground, and I couldn't get them top budge pushing down, even with wd40. I put it all back together and now there she sits in the driveway. :( Btw, driver's side front, about 1/2" slop at the tire, yikes.

Hmmm...I wedged a pipe to the brake pedal to the seat, then I used my breaker bar and about a 2.5' cheater pipe over that. It did take some grunt, but you just might be a bigger wuss than me. Try some PBBlaster stuff and let it soak for a few minutes. After you spray it, take the hub nut with a wrench to vibrate the juice to the threads. The only other thing I can thing of is an impact gun.

Sorry it's being such a PITA for ya. My driver's side was ALOT harder to deal with than getting the passenger side off/out.

I couldn't get either. I didn't try an impact wrench, but I don't think mines any stronger than me with the big breaker. Did you take the knuckles off to go get them pressed?

yeah, I took the whole thing apart and just brought the hub to the shop. I took the knuckles off and left them attached to the tie-rod so it wouldn't screw up my alignment too bad. You should re-check your alignment when you get it all back together though.

Another PITA is getting the dang hub off the lower control arm post. I fought with that thing for a while too. It does take some persuasion, but it will come off.

If I can get off early enough I'll try and swing by your place if you need some help, if you haven't got it apart by then of course.

Thanks, but I gotta work today, you know, if I'm not here, then I ain't makin' money. I'll probably put it off til the weekend, unless I can find somebody I trust to do it for me, Tires Plus I don't, plus I really don't have the money to pay a shop right now anyway. I'll keep in touch, if anything changes I may ask for the help.

I would insert some smartass comment here, but I'm just too depressed today, so yes I did indeed unstake it, thus why I had the need for new axle nuts, I don't like reusing them.

edit: ack, I have to get to work, I'll check back here later ladies...
