New suspension again

Well I just took out my GC's and put in the Eibachs, but now it seems I'm planning on a set of full coilovers. I'm tired of seeing people blowing their motors and trannys and the price of the turbo systems is to much money for my status in life so I figured if I was going to do some racing like I always planned why not make it handle better. That is what autox is all about.
I went to the autox last weekend and it was totally cool. I didn't know it was going to be so big. I saw at leas a hundred cars there. To make a long story short I decided that since everything was so expensive four our cars, I'm starting on the porsche 550 spyder kit car, and that our cars were never meant to handle in the straights I would start to autox.
So now that that is over I have some questions. I'm looking into full coilovers the final cut being both the Teins and the JIC's. I've heard a lot of good things about the JIC's but what about the teins. Anyone got them on their car? Do coilovers have to be periodically rebuilt? How much would that cost? I think that's about it. Iwas also looking for prices. I found teins for 1350.00 but never found any price on the JIC's although I thought it was mentioned in another thread that they cost around 1850.00. Too much for coilovers if you ask me. Anyway take a look at my questions and please answer what you can. Cheers.

Step one for autocross car preparation is buy a rule book. Step two is to read it and figure out what you need and what it is going to cost you to be competitive in a class.

Having said that, The two biggest payoffs in autocross car preperation are the driver and the tires. If I read this and your other thread correctly, you are new to autocrossing. Find someone in your area that has a similar car and just start talking to them. Most of the autocrossers I know are happy to help a Novice out.
