Anybody done anymore experimenting with pulling the ABS/DSC fuse in the car? I'm curious about results. I may try messing with it myself also.
According to the latest GRM magazine, their project Fiesta benefitted from Andy's advice to pull the stability control fuse. No mention of the ABS fuse. This is the main reason that I was wondering what had given the best results. Maybe Andy can chime in?
I figure that much.. my question is more toward the specifics of legalities...thanks tho
Thanks.. so I am good to go with my mods so far right?
What about the awr mount?
My ecu was lost in the mail. Dynotronics has been nice enough to still flash my new ecu. I will send it out next week.
Tires and seat time are by far the best two things you can do.
Is the shop you went to absolutely apposed to creating another? Cost doesn't matter to me if it is the best header to get for this car.
At a local test and tune I pulled 12/44 and at yesterday's event I did a 19/100. The only mod on my Mazda 2 is 15x7 wheels with Yokohama Advan ad08 so I am STF but STF has better pax than HS. This is on top of a 1st place at an event held in the rain.
So yes to seat time!

I got 10/80 pax last weekend, with stock tires. Corksport adjustable shocks/lowering springs.
Ordered a set of 15x7.5 6uls that are due in May.. In meantime I have decided on a tire. I want to run the dunlop direzza zii, but am torn between 195 vs 205.
My plan is to swap wheels and tires this year, then street on last years race tires.. I know plenty of people who have done this with star specs for years. So i would like a happy medium for autox performance, and then looks/comfort for daily the following year.
From what I gather, that since I will not be running the magic 195 toyo, that i should just bump up to the 205? and the dunlops have a stiffer sidewall so turn in will be largely unaffected? correct me if i'm wrong.
