I got into CADD, I'm thinking either engineering or architectural applications. I've always been into design, but graphic design never really happened to me. CADD is a good merger of the engineering and logical side coupling with my creative side.
How did you get into your line of work? Pretty brave to work at a correctional facility!

as for me, law enforcement has surrounded me my entire life. my mom worked in the prison and was a sheriff's deputy for riverside. my stepdad was a sheriff, my grandma IS a correctional officer, at the same place i will be working (funny huh?), grandpa is retired officer, stepmom is CHP, and my dad was an MP...
not that i wanted to carry on the family legacy, but it interests me more than anything. the adrenaline, helping society as a whole, the spontaneousness of the job... it all appeals to me! i eventually want to be a street cop, so go figure... haha

Hmm yeah I've heard of that and will probably have to do it in school. Next semester it's Microstation, Inventor and AutoCADD. My social life will be no more, lol.

(blah)You should find out. The majority of schools still use Pro-E and AutoDesk. But I must warn you, once you use SolidWorks, you will never want to go back to the others....evar.

yeah, i guess i am. i've always known what i wanted to do... its just a matter of age, and in the correctional dept, it gives me afoot in the door until i am of age (21) to be a cop
