I donno what the deal was with the one that was on the deck lid, but it was all yellowed and bumpey. Got this one off ebay, same on thats on my bros 03 MSP

mines got the yellow-bumpy effect goin on with it right now too. i've been debating on buying a new MSP one or just completely de-badging (took the protege one off already)
same here.. mine has a weird rusty yellow look and i also can't decide if i want to completely debadge. Thought about ordering a "turbo" emblem in cursive from ebay or something but it would be easier just to debadge lol..

There are two holes behind each badge, I took them all off on my P5. If you look at the back of the trunk you can probably see the prongs from the emblems poking through.
they all have holes even the mazdaspeed one. mine did the yellow bubble thing and it was just the clear over the badge i picked it off and now it looks perfectly normal.
