Morning all.
Waiting to see that engine run at Daytona.
Happy last day of 2012. What are people planning or doing tonite?
Should be interesting here as most are old people in bed by 9pm. We have a bet to see who makes it to midnite.
Warmer here today, hopefully get the kayak in the water later.

Happy New Year everyone!
Tons of snow in NH and the REPU is tucked in for a while. It needs an inspection sticker so once the roads dry out I'll take it to the dealer. They'll get a kick out of it and I'll have a chance to check out the new Mazda6 they have in the lobby.
I had some fun on the local roads in the MS6. It loves to whip the tail out on snow covered roads.

Oh, and BTW, its that time of year again! I'll start a new thread to organize the outing once I get a consensus on which day people want to go. Saturday the 19th or Sunday the 20th? Plan will be to arrive early and meet in the parking lot, say 9:30.

Yesterday I dragged Oleg out on a bike ride with a local club through Boston. Funny how you can live near some pretty neat stuff for years and never visit it. Anyway the group started at the common and went up to Bunker Hill, the naval yard, Castle Island and a whole bunch of other places I've never been to.

Dam, I miss the meets.
Finally got the kayak in the water today. Had a blast, paddled till my arms were sore. Seems to go pretty well, easy to turn and pretty stable.

Bruce, envious of ya. Showed the wifey the pics last night and we both commented on 'the life'. haha Keep on enjoying!
Mahk, guess you read my post in the P5 thread which led to the 'sorry' comment? Turns out the joke is on me. In my mad desire to save a few pennies, I missed the fact that the AWR inserts should be used with a decent stock mount...not to replace one! Doh! Lesson learned and a Duralast mount is in place (and for about $10 more I could have had the AWR mount) and I happily add that all noises are now gone from the front end, even those when I turned the wheel...guess my PS pump has a few more miles left in her after all.
