Sup NEPOC!

Happy belated Bday Tony! Bike looks cool and I'll bet those chains were a pita to build. ;)

This morning I cruised the PA turnpike down to the King of Prussia mall to meet up with another member. Bought a like-new (2000 miles of use) Progress rsb and AWR endlinks for cash and BNIP MSP links I had. Can't wait to get it installed! :)

Did the front and rear brakes on the Nitro this morning. Rotors were fine so it was a pretty quick job. Saved about $150 over having the shop do them.

Oh yea! Well this is what I did today!

Well I finally was able to close the deal on the 2009 WRX Sedan. So no more Speed3 for me. :-(

I will miss its raw power but not its harsh suspension. The WRX is so smooth over the roads out here that I wish I had done this sooner. It is perfect for my area and its no wonder why everyone drives Subarus out here.

No real pictures yet as it snowed as soon as I got home basically.

I will still be hanging around these parts.

Oh wow. As long as it works out well for you! I've always wanted a WRX.

Car dealers do the strangest things to their vehicles. Just think about how many cars are out there with awful vinyl and fabric roof add-ons, a generation after manufacturers nearly swore them off entirely. Manchester Subaru in Manchester, New Hampshire isn't content to create some sticker-and-tape fake trim level on a top-dog 2011 Subaru WRX STI. Instead, the dealer has gone all Chainsaw Massacre on the rally-bred performance sedan. The result is a picnic basket of automotive woe.

I saw this in person over the weekend, it is where I bought my car. The guy I bought my car says it cost about 15-20K to do the modifications. Car is sent out to California to a shop (can't remember the place he said). That roll bar goes down through the B pillar and connects to the added frame supports that go the length of the car.. Salesman didn't know the actual number but said he wouldn't be surprised by a price tag of $70,000. It was a $38,000 STi before they started.

This is one of FIVE that will be sacrificed.

Does this forum hate quick reply? Or is it that it hates Chrome or Firefox... double posts every time for me.

Morning and that is one um...unique Subie....not my taste but someone out there will buy it.

So anyone want to help me troubleshoot my light issue? Just installed a new HID kit (35W with no relay..what I was running) and all was well until my ride in this morning. Looked at the gauge cluster and noticed my 'high beam' indicator was faintly illuminated, I hit the stalk which turned them on and the indicator lit fully. Pulled into the parking light at work and discoverd my DS lo-beam was on as well as both hi-beams (faintly)....turned the hi-beams on and both DS lights were fully on while neither light was on the PS? My first thought during the drive was a bad bulb/ballast but now I'm not so sure with the hi-beam issues.... Did I mention it's Monday and it's raining? (gah) what a way to start the week.

The affordable way to drift...
