Gah dealers are such pains in the asses. Only want to negotiate the trade price not the actual car price.

Go in and say that you're not doing a trade, that you're just buying the car and selling yours private party. Then once you've gotten a good buying price on the car, come back and say your private sale fell through and you want to trade. See if they honor the selling price on the car you agreed to.

Yeah... I can't wait to fly down to New Orleans to pick up the new car... but at the same time, I don't want to put it in the salt and snow yet... or ever for that matter.

I'd love to drive it to Lime Rock if it wasn't such a Mazda event. LOL. But... you can't make it to Lime Rock this year, right?

I'll definitely be making my share of road trips in it. If you're still going to NC, I guarantee you'll see it down there.
