I only click the button once and I post from several different computers, so it's not user error. I really only notice when I use post quick reply.

I get the same thing. If I use quick reply, the website takes FOREVER to respond and usually results in a double post. It happens at work, the cell phone, and both PCs at home.

yeah.. the forums have been running like dogs*** lately. horribly slow, double posts, and search errors.

Thats such an open ended question lol
What's your riding experience?
New or Used?

I'd like a white Ducati 848 but don't have garage now so that has to wait but a cheap one would be fun to mess with unless i go ahead and forge the motor then the whole idea will be postponed for next summer unfortunately.

Experience = fresh out of street
Condition = used

My advise would be a used 600 for a first bike. We have always had good luck with Yamaha (R6) or the Suzuki GSX-R600. Anything more than that is a lot for a first bike and not neccessary untill you skill actually warrants being able to ride it. The other reason is (and anyone with a bike hates to admit it, but it happens to everyone) you will drop the bike. In the garage, in a parking lot, or even in your driveway. It happens and its easier to get over if the bike is not new.

Honda makes a good motor, but the riding position is very uncomfortable for me (pegs are high so your knees are way up to your chest/ shoulders). Ducati's are nice, but way over priced and lack the performance and handling you can get out of a Japanese bike for less money.

Again thats just my opinion from riding them and having owned a few bikes.

Just a side note... My best friend came home today from his 4th tour overseas.

I, with his wife's help, built him a PC while he was gone. He has been complaining about his old one for a few years now. I just got off the phone with him and this is his response to the PC: "If you were a woman I'd be divorced and married to you now." I'm guessing he likes it. A lot.

well i do see plenty up in new britain, but want more.

i really am torn because I love love love driving in the snow, but im anxious to get my speed3 wheels back on.
