NEMOC Random BS Thread

I asked myself the same thing. I double checked like 4 times. Used the multimeter to make sure that the way it's connected reads > +12V. All the lights and stuff work, including the HIDs. If those were hooked up backwards they wouldn't. I'm going to take the starter off tonight and get it tested.

Eh... roads were wet and had some salt on them. Kinda... not ideal.

Bad ground somewhere? I hate chasing down electrical issues.

I'm thinking the starter went south. I did use it quite a bit Saturday night while driving home. Perhaps too many uses in a short time finally helped kill it.

How easy is it to take the starter off? Looks like a pain in the ass to get to

I'll let you know later tonight... haha.

All starters are easy... except that 1 single bolt that takes exactly 1 hour.. 3 bloody knuckles and 2 thrown wrenches to get out.

Oh no joke man. The starter on my Honda was sorta like that. Err... one of my Hondas. I don't remember which one now. I just know it took me a little while.

Luke I need to make an appointment with you... when I can I get help on the tile? It's roughly 25 sq ft. I have tile picked out, I need to pick it up from HD. I also need to get the other supplies for it but I was wondering if you could suggest either the premix or bagged stuff.

What size tile?
Are you renting the tile saw for a day or do I need to hand cut all the tile?

Check price, pre-mixed is a little easier, but more expensive. might be okay with the small area.

You'll need tiles, mortar, grout, spacers, a couple large sponges and a couple buckets.

Whats the subfloor look like? Is it all clean, smooth and screwed down well?

Edit:
When did I become

12"x12" marble tiles.

I would rent a tile saw if that's easiest, it's a 6 ft 6" by 3 ft 6" area (roughly).. I'll check rental prices.

I was looking at the prices.. I think with a bag I would get a lot of left over material but maybe I could save it for future tiling projects. Is there a difference between mortar and adhesive? I saw both in the store. Is the adhesive just for stick on tiles? I'm a nooooooob.

The subfloor has linoleum glue stuck to it. That needs to come off, correct? I was almost considering just putting down another layer of subfloor except it'll make it thicker so it won't line up with the hallway... :( Subfloor is okay otherwise.
