So easy fix? Easy but lengthy fix? Tough fix? Weekender? Week-er? Or sell the damn car? Any of those fit this problem?
easy fix...
If you can make a popcorn necklace, you can replace vacuum lines...
vacuum lines are like the line running from your BPV (the thin rubber line about 2x the thickness of heavy spaghetti). Easiest way to track down the leak is to spray carb cleaner on the vac lines while idling... if it goes rough, youve found the problem area.
OR you can take it one step further, and just replace ALL the vacuum lines. couple hours to do it right (all the measuring and cutting takes some time).
and its cheap... probably about $40-60 to redo your entire car with higher quality silicone lines
So I was just looking at ATP's website and I liked alot of the stuff on there. Let's start slow by asking, if I were to redo and route all my vac lines, how many feet would I need to do the task (probably add on about an extra foot or two for mess ups)? I would like to go ahead and by the actuator too but I am trying to be frugal here.
I am just gonna order 10' should be plenty and have some left over for other stuff, I am sure somebody else could give you a better idea of how much you'd need exacly. There are way to many things on ATP that I could get myself into a lot of trouble with. I am thinking v-band on everything exhaust wise. God that would so much easier to work on.
Well ..Hook a brotha up!i found a local place to get mild steel v-band pretty cheep

since when did u blow your engine?felt the same as 19psi on forged rods.
since when did u blow your engine?
I didn't that was the fun side to it. I only over boosted a bit here and there to feel it. When I hit 19psi i was doing it to record it on film, most of the time I'd let off at 16psi, still not safe but it was hilarius when SRT Kevin called me to ask what gear I was in because I was pulling away from him when we went at it one time on Mansell, Korey saw that one too so it really happened.
uh oh, that's gonna come in real handy in a bit.
