Need ideas

So I went to change my brakes this weekend and noticed that the car, which I bought 2 weeks ago, has neon lighting underneath the car. 1 bulb along each side and 1 along the front. I searched forever to find out how to turn them on and finally found a switch in the cubbyhole under the Fog Light button. One of the bulbs is broken, but I thought the others might work, they didn't. Either way, the bulbs cost like 40 bucks a piece to replace and I am not willing to do that so I'll just take them off.

So now I have a switch that does nothing and I want it to operate something, any ideas of what I should hook up to the switch?

electric supercharger, lol.

they actually do give you like a 10 percent gain, but its up to wheater or not you wanna tell people that you have a marine fan in your car.

smoke machine eh...haha. And yeah, i'll have to pass on the marine fan. i guess there isn't much to connect it to

Maybe some interior lighting under the drivers and passengers seats in the front and back...But a very tasteful color...it would add a nice touch and the "oooo....ahhhh" factor

Kill switch? lol

Is it well hidden? You could make it a kill switch so no one can steal the car.(shrug)

I thought about interior neons for some "ooh-ahh" factor, like my fellow yellow MP5er suggested, but I think I want something that has more than night time use. If I can't come up with anything, these will be it. Btw, I would have to get yellow or orange neons, to match the car or the speedo guages.

JC-MP5: It is very well hidden. It is in the cubbyhole on the left side of the dash under the fog light button/quarter holder. The switch is in the very back so someone with small hands wouldn't easily be able to hit it. Designed very well, I just feel it is a shame to not put it to use haha.
The kill switch is a interesting idea, but I think I'd get tired of having to flip it everytime I got in the car...

Any other ideas?

P.S. It's a 5 speed...I think that's pretty good theft protection as it is since many of the drivers today can't drive one.

Wire it to your dome light, head unit and your cupholder so in the flick of a switch 2 alcoholic drinks of your choice pop up, lights dim,( possibly a black light) and some Barry white baby makin musixc kicks on the cd player to set the mood when you got your lady friend in the car...Just an idea...what girl would say no to some cool s*** like that (godown)

That would kick ass, but I already have a gf so I think at this point she would just laugh at me...if it ends up not working out I'll revisit that idea. If I did that I would also have to make it fold the back seats down.

As it stands I think things are working out well, so the discoball/light dim/martini/barry white music/back seat fold down MOD will have to remain a pipe dream for me, haha.

Wait wait wait wait wait.

Wait.

You're claiming 10 HP on the FS-DE with an electric supercharger!?!? (headshake

I think my brain just tried to commit suicide.

Actually, my friends were quite surprised when I bought this car because I hate how people "rice out" their cars. I'm a fan of deep, loud, v8's with just lots of power. But when it comes down to it, I can admit that these Japanese cars do last a bit longer, have higher reliability, and get far better gas mileage. Which is what i needed and most of the basis of the purchase, plus I did like the look of the car as well as the deal i got on it.

an idea

Something I am toying with is building a 2 small boxes that will seal flush up against the rear window so no light flashes back in the car and mounted 35 watt fog lights in them, that way when it's dark and can't see when backing up, flip the switch. Or, the guy behind you won't shut off his brights, flip the switch!!

When I finally get around to doing it, I'll post up pics and what not.
