Need help with front bumper

some jerk backed up and into my p5 (in my absence) and now part of the my driverside's bumper is sticking out. the condition is similar to what was experienced by 2k3 PrO RiDa (please see attached)

do you think this can be easily fixed by just taking off the part of the bumper and just snapping back in the part this is sticking out. i hope it's nothing serious. thanks for all your help.

its a broken clip, im sure you could fix it by rigging something up after taking off the bumper. i broke one of my clips when painting my headlights but i was too lazy to fix it...it ended up getting fixed when the dealer had to repaint my bumper under warranty.

thanks for the reply matthew. how was it that you were able to get the bumper fixed under "warranty"? do you think it can be applied to my case. if not, how difficult is it to replace the broken clip. thanks.

no this was in regards to the stock foglights bubbling the paint...sorry

i took off the bumper today and just as matthew said, the bracket/clip (right beneath the headlight) holding on to the front bumper was broken. can anyone inform me as to how much i would be looking at if i were to have it replaced? if i were to have it replaced, do i need to go thru the dealer or do you guys think that local body shops can fix it? thanks.

both of mine broke when i tried to remove my bumper...when i put the bumper back on, i just left those off...its been like 4 months and the bumper is still holding on tight...cant really tell where the clips were either...

my right one broke off when i took my bumper off last night....we just wedged a piece of foam up in it and it works perfect. Has any one else noticed how big of a pain it is to take our bumper off?

no kidding brandon. i am just a little disappointed by how easily things break on the p5. by the way, how did you wedge the bracket back on with the foam. please shed some light. thanks.

Yeah let me take some pics either tonight or tom and i'll show you what we did. It doesn't really make much of a difference if you leave it alone, so it's not a big deal. We took my headlights out to make some custom eyelids out of fiberglass and had to take the whole bumper off to get the lights out. WTF?
