My Show/AutoX P5 build

Sweet! Gonna build an N/A engine, eh!? I'm still debating going to the "dark side", lol. But with those high comp pistons, you'll definately need a good air/fuel & timing controller. MPI is probably still your best bet, but a microtech sure would be sweet. =)

Yah I think I am going to have to just bite the bullet and save for the Microtech, it will be my best bet to try and get to 200whp.

Replaced the stock steering wheel with this new TenzoR titanium leather steering wheel:

This will be good for show and autocross, win win there. I will be adding a carbon fiber center ring to it soon so it will look even sexier than this! Sorry for the bad pics, lost my memory card to the digital camera.

Finally got and installed the HID kit my brother ordered me for christmas:

Niiiice! That's definately my next mod. Been wanting to do an HID conversion ever since we got the maxima and I saw how much of a difference they really make. My poor lights look like poo...I'm still on the stock bulbs, lol. =(

I forget, isn't there something in the SCCA rulebook about replacing a steering wheel with an airbag with a steering wheel without one?

Sweet! Sell some of that stereo equipement you got lyeing around and you could buy a set. Make sure to buy them from a place in the US. Mine were straight from Jupan and it took forever to get them.

Not in FSP. Under 15.2, sec G it says any steering wheel may be used, and is not required to have an airbag or horn button. It's different for STS tho.

I added a carbon fiber horn ring to my TenzoR steering wheel:

I am planning on getting this axleback then add header. How does msp rb axleback + header sound compared to mazdaspeed axleback without header? (in terms of droning, loudness etc)

The mazdaspeed axleback without a header sounds pretty good compaired to with a header. But even without a header it still had a little highway drone. The RB MSP axleback is deffinately hands down the way to go. I have headers and a catless MAM midpipe and it still does not have any highway drone at all, and it has just the right amount of growl.

I have been focusing more on appearence mods lately. My tires are toast right now so I have not done much AutoX yet this year. Just got some MSP Racing Harts powdercoated so I am waiting to get tires for those. I will probably eventually get my stock wheels powdercoated as well and some new tires for them to use those as my exclusive autoX wheels. If you check this thread out you can see what I have been up to on the car lately:
