My Own $18000 challenge

yea i think they run like mid 13's stock, i was looking around on cardomain and Dinan's website they say just there chip will free up 41whp, and a couple guys where running mid 12's with lightly modded M's, the potential is just remarkable to me, and it surprises me that i do not see more of them. And it is German perfection, I will have to get a hold of my insurance before I buy just to see how bad they will kill me on the insur

yea that RX is sweet, but when I had my first one that was the 2nd gen turbo II it cost 190 a month just for liabilty, then the 3rd gen was 220 for full, cant really get that how liabilty was 190 for a older car, but I was 16 at the time, when I had the 2nd gen

depends on where you live also, my insurance used to be around 330 a month and i moved about 40 minutes away and now its 200 a month for full coverage..yes but on that beemer the only problems with those is acctualy when something goes wrong, it will cost you an arm and leg to get it fixed...so unless you have the money to fix one i wouldnt buy it and insurance will try to **** you with it

**threadjack again** write a thread in the oregon section about a meet in march(snow starts to melt) and i will start a wa one.... lets meet half way (where a strip is) and make a weekend out of it!! the insurance on a bmw wont be too much cheaper then the rx-7 i dont think

look better... run more boost, more parts/accessories available..... where is the challenge?????

Ok I will start a thread tomorrow I am going to go to sleep for some weird reason, but I went to a funeral today and even though I sat for a long time, it drained everything out of me. So i will talk to you guys later.

How about a mustang GT or Cobra? Fairly good handling, boatloads of mods and cheap parts etc. Another option would be a Contour SVT, fairly inexpensive now, great handling, good acceleration etc. Durability may not be the best but there are a lot of parts out there for them.

I would rather go with some form of import, either from the lands of kraught, or the fields of rice.

but if he decided to go domestic, that would be the way I would go also. You get into the low 12s easily.

Give me a '93 Mustang GT with a supercharger slapped on to it, and I'll be a happy guy.:)
