Ok, we could not finish the prototype kit yesterday, due to inclimate weather. (Its a 3 hour drive for me each way) Andrew has the IC built, and it is installed on my car. We need to finish the piping for the kit, and thats it. :D

First, the final pricing for the kit, as what I know of right now, has not been set. This kit is going to be MUCH different then the other FMIC upgrade kits, and will have ALL numbers to back up its importance.

As far as numbers, I do know the Spearco IC is 3 inches deep, by 7 inch, by 15 inces. (correct me if im worng andy) It will flow 600 CFM, which the little t-25 would never max out. This IC is a bar and plate, unlike the stock IC, which is a tube and fin.

Now let me mention about Nick (perfworks) and Andrew (wagner) These guys are great. Full of knowledge, and really intense when doing thier work. I spent the whole day at the shop yesterday, and helped them out a bit with the car. I learned some new things, and got ALOT of stuff cleared up for me. :D These are great guys, and working on providing us great products.

Finally, here are some pics of the IC, and other random pics.

I will explain the piping, once they are done, and installed. I would need to show the pics, for you to understand how they will install. :D

Look for the kit to be finished within the next 2 weeks. (as soon as I can get back there)

They just seem iffy. They invade posts and make comments without anyohe asking. The company themselves is very secretative, no website common. Months for delivery, please. And the prices are retarded. 1.3k for a turbo back? For a mazdaspeed? Please. Apex has a great on for a lot less. i dont like companies that dont show pics and post numbers. They are so over protective of thier "R&D". I dunno that is just me. A lot of people like them, but not me.

I personally was going to go spool all the way, but oh well. I like Apex, and I trust perfworks. They are much better in bussiness relations imo. oh well looking forward to the fmic guys! :)

Yes, I too was going to go with spool but with the current situation, it leaves us with little to choose from...

I really wanted to be a part of it. :(

It was the only thing holding me back from trading in my MP3.

Heh heh heh. It is UBER pimp the PNP that is. :D This IC setup is nice though, once the piping is done I can give a full explanation of the kit for you all.

What's wrong with Ion? Seriously, I wanna know...

For me, it's nice to have a company located in the US. Plus, I like to see prices and pictures without having to dig around or call.

BTW, There will be a complete wirteup on the R&D abrication, and install of the kit on my car. Stay Tuned. (get it? Tuned?) heh heh heh

Craig got a chance to see what we are working on tuning with. Cant go into it too much yet. But I'm sure "boost will be good";)
We should have prototype to tune this week on the N/A pro then FI. It is just a matter of the configuration I am studying and testing now. After that our PNP harness and road tuning. Dyno numbers and we shall have it ready for all the proteges.
NA and FI. Stay tuned.
BTW the FMIC on craigs car is complete overkill ( in comparison to the stock unit) for the stock turbo. Andy did a great job with designing the unit to flow efficiently with the limited space the MSP has. Wait till you guyssee his piping he has come up with. Phenominal.
