MSP Brakes??

I have the same sound, my rotor is warped. You could feel the pulsing from the pedal. Dealer won't replace it because its techinically a wear item. Plus my car is over 6 months old.

Exactly. =(

Dealer spun my rotors ("machined" is the proper term) under warranty - they should do the same for you. I'm looking to aftermarket for drilled/slotted rotors as mine are warping again. It's very faint, but I notice a pulsation on long slow stops, meaning the rotors are coming out of line again... yuck. Rather spend a little on better rotors than deal with the dealership again , or drive to the only decent dealership around here (45 minutes) only to get stock rotors put on again.

Check the TSB's as well - you may be able to get them to replace the rotors if they're rusting (do a forum search for details).

I have the same deal going on when I brake real hard into a turn. I really awful sounding noise and my pedal depresses at the same time. My car is going in to get some new brake lines, I will have them check my rotors.

Yup.. your rotors are warped.. had mine replaced....

You can probably see the warping.. almost like snowflake patterns on the outer part of the disk....

It is from having the e-brake up....the metal rusts after washing your car and letting it sit over night with the e-brake on. This is my personal experience with this wock wock sound...eventually the rust wears of thus leaving you with no whock whock sound....:) ha!

warped rotors are not supposed to be covered... but if you get a nice dealer... they'll order it for ya.. along with new pads...
usually the front set..
